Essential Job Functions

+ years of professional experience as a Oracle PL/SQL Developer (added advantage if PostgreSQL I known) code development and migrations.
In depth knowledge of the Oracle, PostgreSQL architecture and application data lifecycle management.
Experience in implementing Security Guidelines of Postgres STIG, testing, and other vulnerability remediation.
Experience in working closely with the application teams to resolve any performance related issues.
Measure database performance and troubleshoot complex database issues, I/O bottlenecks and SQL Tuning.
Proven experience in working in a mission critical environment in a multi-terabyte database platform.
Working knowledge of Database Security mechanism, data encryption, obfuscation, auditing using tools.
Experience with automation using Python, Ansible, etc.

In-depth knowledge of IT industry database technologies and processes and business applications integrated with database technologies.
Ability to develop efficient data models.
Ability to write optimized SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
Experience in triggers and constraints.
Strong experience in SQL and Database performance tuning.
Experience in developing and managing table and index partitioning.
Strong experience in writing complex JOINS and Sub Queries
Extensive experience in using extensions and all available functions.
Knowledge in Agile Scrum Framework.

Preferred:
Oracle Developer Certification
Oracle to PostgreSQL Migration experience will be a great plus.
Automobile industry related experience.
Postgres Certification.
