This role plays an integral part in providing strategic and analytical perspective to the organization, specifically as point person for identified departments but also more broadly across the organization. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this role will partner with business leaders to deliver insights and recommendations to key stakeholders for financial models you love to build. Success requires strong analytical skills, excellent relationship-building skills, attention to detail, big picture perspective, self-motivation, solid communication skills, critical thinking, enthusiasm, and determination.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Point person for a key line of business and new initiatives
● Support the annual strategic planning process and the recurring forecast process
● Create and maintain financial models using complex data sets and formulas to deliver insightful reporting, develop multiple scenarios, provide recommendations, and improve financial projections
● Perform monthly variance analysis comparing to history, forecast and budget
● Gather, analyze, and interpret operational metrics to understand underlying drivers of business performance
● Analyze, identify, and communicate trends and issues impacting the business on an ongoing basis and make recommendations
● Partner closely with key line of business stakeholders, providing the strategic and analytical horsepower to plan for and monitor the success of initiatives
● Partner with functions across the enterprise to prepare and communicate insightful results to business leaders to improve and predict performance
● Collaborate with teams across CrossFit for ongoing process improvements to increase automation and efficiency
● Perform other ad hoc projects as needed, potentially including but not limited to M&A due diligence, new initiative analysis, and investor support
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL:

● Strong analytical skills with the ability to summarize complicated analysis for key decision makers

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
● 5+ years relevant work experience
● MBA or BS/BA degree in Finance/Accounting with strong grasp of GAAP accounting and financial statements
● Management consulting or Big 4 experience is a must
● Advanced MS Excel skills
