How You Will Contribute:
The Blue Planet software division is seeking a Software Engineer 3 to build software products in the area of Telecom Service Assurance domain. The Candidate will be responsible for developing high quality Network Resource Adapters and also bring the automation/innovation for Resource adapter development a timely and cost-effective manner.
Engineer will be responsible for design, development and testing of Assurance Resource Adapters for Networks including IP/MPLS, Optical networks, Telco cloud, 5G, SD-WAN etc. You will get an opportunity to innovate and influence new technologies that shape the future of Next Generation OSS platforms.
Develop and maintain Resource Adapters (RA) in the areas of Telecom OSS FM, PM, Inventory domains.
Provide the technical mentorship to the team.
Reviewing design and code
Design and Develop Automation tools for RA development/simulation.
Innovate and influence new technologies for ease of RA development.

The Must Haves:
Software Engineer with 6-9 years of experience in OSS development & deployment space
Having experience in object-oriented programming (Java) is a must
Working experience on XML, perl/python/shell or other scripting languages in linux-based environment is a must.
Working experience with 5G technologies which includes vRAN/O-RAN, 5GC, RIC/nRIC, NWDAF.
Working experience with Telco cloud (SDN, VNF, NFVI, VIM) from different vendors
Working knowledge with TMF, 3GPP Rel 16, MEF standards
Experience with Kafka or similar is a plus.
Software Development experience in Telecom OSS FM, PM, Inventory domains
Understanding Telecom Protocols like NETCONF, SNMP, Telemetry, TL1
Experience in developing plans for system usability along with process experts.
Good To Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/IT/Computer Science Engineering or equivalent
