Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Designing, implementing and maintaining Java-based applications
Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
Maintain up to date code documentation
Participating in code reviews
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
1 to 2 years of professional experience as a Java Developer.
Strong knowledge of Java Application Frameworks (like Spring boot)
Good knowledge of SQL
Hands-on experience working in an Agile environment
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and the software development lifecycle
Strong debugging skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Good problem-solving skills
Hands-on experience working with STS, IntelliJ Idea, Eclipse.

Nice to have skills/experience includes:

Experience managing Cloud infrastructure (resources and service) in AWS, Azure and/or GCP
Developing server-side REST API using Java
Knowledgeable in REST/SOAP Web Services
Building micro services using Spring boot
