Job Description
We are seeking someone with great hands-on experience in Search Engine Optimization, this includes on page SEO, technical SEO, creative off page strategies and Google Analytics. Ideally the candidate should have worked in a Digital Marketing Agency in an SEO role.
Responsibilities:
- Consulting clients on all aspects of SEO, including: On Page SEO such as Keyword research, Meta tags, SEO site architecture, internal linking, etc.
- SEO Technical analysis and evaluation including analyzing html code and CMS optimization, PageSpeed, Core Web Vitals etc.
- Content Development based on content gaps or potential opportunities
- Link Analysis and Link Strategies (creative out of the box thinking is necessary)
- Complete and detailed website audits
- Competitor research and analysis
- Keep up to date with latest industry developments, news, tools etc.
- Maintain regular communication with the client (via conference calls, web meetings, emails)
- Manage Accounts of all sizes from blue chip MNCs to smaller SMEs
- Prepare monthly progress reports which tracks the clients progress and provide useful recommendations to the client.
- Prepare client documents this includes presentations in PowerPoint, Excel or Word and presenting them to the client
Requirements:
- Should have a minimum of 8 years of work experience for the SEO position.
- Should have worked hands on in the SEO field in a Digital Marketing agency.
- Should also be able to handle a team and delegate work.
- Ability to prioritize and manage changing requirements and short timelines, as well as multiple overlapping projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently with excellent planning, analytical, conceptual and organizational skills.
- Strong written and oral English communication skills.
- Self-motivated, with a well-developed ability to grasp assignments and execute them from inception to completion.
- Strong MS Office skills esp. in Excel, Word & Power point.
- Must have hands on experience developing strong relationships with clients and internal teams
- Experience in using SEO Tools such as Google Search Console (GSC), Google Analytics, Google Keyword Planner and other industry tools such as AHREFS/SEMRUSH/Majestic/ScreamingFrog etc.
