About the role:
Boston Scientific’s IA Production Support Team will be part of the Global Business Services IA COE that allows us to optimize and automate processes to drive strategic value.
The production support process analyst will provide support and maintenance of the GBS IA Automation Anywhere application together with reporting solutions which include Tableau, Power Apps, Power Automate, HANA, Alteryx, SQL. The analyst is responsible for assisting in production patching, DW scheduling and optimization, and monitoring the production servers. The process analyst will act as a release manager for automation projects. The ideal candidate will also work on performance optimization, trending metrics and dashboard enhancements. In addition, the analyst will manage ticket requests from end-users, analyze and take appropriate actions.
Your responsibilities include:
Monitoring the DW in both AA V11 and A360 Control Rooms
Monitoring the Reporting solutions as they run.
Server Patching and VDI Patching
DW Scheduling
Production Monitoring Status’s Updates
Metrics Monitoring and Optimizations
Ensure business processes are stable after a new system implementation (or change) by understanding the impact of the changes on the process
Interface with other cross-functional Analysts to ensure enhancements support and complement other business systems
Supports end-users in the day-to-day application of the system by discussing and solving problems (problem resolution, running queries, providing first-line support)
Supports reporting solutions and work with team on-a-need basis.
What we’re looking for
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Information Technology required
3-5 years’ experience in production application support or business-facing IT role
Strong written and oral communication skills
80-89% English speaking and reading comprehension level
Agile/Lean process knowledge.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and data analytics
Good verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience as well as produce clear and concise written documentation.
The ability to conceptualize automated solutions and understand the prescribed design architecture
Work with developers and application owners to implement the change & document it
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to influence at all levels from multiple departments and geographic locations, awareness of cultural differences
Ability to solve problems collaboratively and build strong relationships
Team player, flexible, and committed to quality process and outcomes
Strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple concurrent tasks
Process orientation with strong attention to detail
Strong written and oral communication skills
80-89% English speaking and reading comprehension level
Agile/Lean process knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
Business process automation
Robotic process automation – Automation Anywhere experience strongly preferred
Experience with some or all of the following programming languages is preferred: Microsoft Technology (VBA, .NET, Windows, SQL Server, Web Services)
Scripting languages (e.g., python, SQL, Power Automate, ETL, API, JAVA)
Hands on experience with Troubleshooting and Debugging
Good knowledge of windows server, Virtual machines, and SSL
A strong, demonstrable record of customer service.
