Job Description

Required Skills & Experiences:
Strong experience working on Postgres database in the production environment.

DBA will be supporting the customer on a 24x7 support.

Should have hand-on experience on Postgres user management and maintenance.

Should have worked on security implementation for Postgres database.

Have worked on Backup and Recovery.

Must have database related issue troubleshooting / analytical skills and strong at performance tuning

Should have good communication and interpersonal skills

Should be well versed with the DB replication including Streaming, Londiste, Logical, etc

Hands on experience with EFM, HA technologies.

Hands on knowledge of DB migration, major version upgradation

Hands on at Postgres to other DB and other DB to Postgres migration

Hands on AWS RDS, Azure SQL for PostgreSQL, etc. PaaS services

Knowledge of Cloud Technology will take precedence.

Knowledge of other databases like MySQL/Oracle/MSSQL will be an added advantage.
