The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of accounting and bookkeeping practices
- Keeps abreast of updates to QuickBooks
- Identifies and investigates any errors or variances
- Executes weekly bookkeeping- using QuickBooks Online- to categorize and reconcile transactions
- Sources any missing receipts and documentation for all transactions
- Obtains Owner approval for subcontractor invoices
- Regularly updates job costing forms and reports on project profitability data
- Prepares and issues invoices for clients
- Performs biweekly reconciliation
- Prepares and files monthly sales tax, annual CAT tax, and 1099s for all subcontractors
- Manages accounts payable
- Works with customer service to inform of past due invoices
- Aids in the management of tax agency notices
- Prepares reports on financial metrics for management analysis
- Updates and reviews budget monthly
- Collaborates with our CPA to make any changes or adjustments
- Correspondence with Managers and Crew Leaders will be necessary
- Other administrative tasks as needed
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Organized, notices detail
- Extensive Knowledge in MS Excel
- 2 years of experience with QuickBooks is necessary
- Comfortable with technology
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing
- High school or equivalent required
- MUST BE WILLING TO WORK AS A REMOTE CONTRACTOR
