BARFIELD MCCAIN AYOUB, PA is an AV rated law firm with a growing practice representing landlords throughout the State of Florida. The firm was established in 1987 and is based in West Palm Beach, FL with well over 1,000 active clients throughout the state. Our newest associate attorney will be joining a seasoned group of professionals who support and value the talents of each team member and who thrive in a culture where everyone is respected and elevated to achieve a higher potential. Our team currently has 5 attorneys, including AV rated, board certified, and multi-state licensed attorneys, with over 25 dedicated paralegals and legal assistants.

Associate Attorney Duties and Responsibilities:

Appearing for both in-person and virtual mediations, motion calendar and evidentiary hearings, and bench trials in Miami-Dade County and throughout Florida. Out of court duties include managing a high volume of client communications, drafting motions, statutory notices and negotiating settlements.

This position may include a remote candidate based from a home office in Miami-Dade, Broward or Palm Beach County who is able to cover in-person hearings in Miami-Dade and throughout the tri-county area.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Florida Bar License
• Courtroom experience (0-3 years) or relatable law student internship/externship/clerkship
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to prioritize work demands and meet deadlines autonomously
• Multilingual
