Job Title: WSL IT – Sr. LANSA Developer

Risk and Control Objective

Will be playing role of Sr. LANSA developer to maintain and support ACBS application changes.
Successful candidate will play a leading role in a project work to implement project related changes and Operational efficiencies. The candidate will also be expected to contribute towards ongoing support of the production environment.
What will you be doing?
Interaction with global stakeholders to develop and provide requested solution.
Application development using but not limited to LANSA and other I series development core skills i.e. RPG , CL , SQL.
Provide testing support in development life cycle
Follow agile methodology for application development
Supporting business in achieving efficiencies
Support and participate in colleague engagement activities
Support and participate in tech debt remediation for ACBS team
Escalate risks and issues to the Development Lead throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide support and technical guidance to team members
Manage and update existing knowledge base of application and business learning
Contribute towards planning of implementation activities, including data migration where appropriate.
What we’re looking for:
Graduate / Post Graduate
Must have knowledge of LANSA for iSeries , Visual LANSA, SQL , MS SQL
Proficiency with MS Office applications
Experience working in Banking or other BFS environment.
Ability to work in a matrix managed environment and a proven record of delivery in a collaborative environment.
Skills that will help you in the role:
Previous experience with the ACBS / LIQ application would be a plus.
Experience working within an Agile development environment is strongly preferred.
Corporate or investment Wholesale Lending banking knowledge, particularly back office operations.
