Role Introduction:
Role: Senior SQL DBA

Experience: 7+ years

Job Location: Bangalore

What You Will Do:
Ability to work under pressure, handle complex change and prioritize key activities
A collaborative team member
Develops understanding of client’s business, applications, and users
Ability to identify, recommend and implement continuous service improvements
Available for work outside normal working hours during scheduled maintenance window
Excellent communication skills

What You Will Have:
7+ year experience
Production DBA experience for SQL versions 2008-2019
Good understanding of relational database principles, guidelines, and best practises
Experience in T-SQL and SQL components such as SSRS, SSIS, SSAS
Experience of backup/restore strategies to meet restore requirements
Experience in managing logins and users using server/database roles and troubleshooting issues around it
Experienced in daily database maintenance tasks
Experience of patching, standalone and clustered instances
Experience in basic troubleshooting, incident resolution, performance tuning
Knowledge of HA DR using shared disk and AlwaysOn clustering
Technical point of escalation for the team.
