Projects Head- Cement & Aggregates
Responsible to seamlessly organize, expedite, facilitate, coordinate among stake holders in engineering, tendering, supplier deliverables consultant inputs, bill validation, data keeping, cost & Schedule tracking.
Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Roles & Responsibilities
Integrating activities & deliverables from Civil, Mech, E&I and Process to achieve project objectives.
Consilidating all inputs, comments and compiling into single document.
Consultant deliverables monitoring, expediting and raising issues in timely manner.
Coordination between engineering, purchase and vendor for timely placement of Pos.
Expediting deliverables from vendors, suppliers and all stake holders to achieve target timeline.
Progress monitoring, Report preparation, MOM preparation and record keeping
Bill validation of consultant, coordinating payments together with concerned department.
Engineering Database maintenance
Arrange review on Technical submittals as per BID, which includes Methods, plan and implementation strategies
Communication with site team in resource mobilization, technical inputs, timely clarification, Management and manpower resource planning including various vendors
Resolving conflicts, highlighting technical, commercial, schedule compliance related issues and chasing for resolution.
Project budget control, monitoring and optimizing.
Effective Technical, Commercial and communication skills to handle cement Mechanical
Well-versed with Cement Technology, Material Handling Equipments and Utility System
Technology and IT Enablement
Knowledge & experience of minimum one engineering branch with AutoCAD, MS Office & Exposure in Project management tools.

Keys Result Ares
Planning & Execution Review of Scope of supply, exclusions, layouts and GA drawings.
Review of Erection & Fabrication Drawings
Preparation of Project BoQ for Site Execution Material
Preparation of package wise weekly Progress Reports
Monitoring Progress and construction supervision & execution as per contract conditions , drawings and specifications.
Coordination / monitoring of tender schedules, project progress including design / engineering issues, approvals and supporting construction activities.
Value engineering & Project Cost Control Facilitate uninterrupted progress by identifying potential problems and suggesting corrective actions.
'• To review and verify suppliers billing break up with respect to their respective scope of supply and get approved by superior.
'• Provide inputs for execution planning based on engineering and system design.
'• To closely monitor with site for deviations from the technical requirement of contracts and bring the same to superior and getting acceptable deviations approved.
'• Taking up Post commissioning issues/problems at site with suppliers and finding engineering solutions to resolve issues.
'• Site modifications with reference to Mechanical requirements for overall plant performance

Knowledge of Taxes & duties
Knowledge/Application of Autocad
Knowledge/Application of Primavera
Conversant with Tax structure necessary while checking RA bills
Educational Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech. (Mechanical/Civil/E&I Engineering)
Experiences: Person should have relevant experience of approximately 8-10 years in Cement Industry for Project management & Execution
