Full Job Description
Uninterrupted source of supply of raw materials through timely closure of commercial contracts and updating the materials team with the SAP contracts.
Negotiate new contracts or renegotiates existing contracts with Suppliers to meet company savings/standard costing objectives
Purchase price variance management
Budget vs. Actuals
Responsible for the strategies and programs to minimize the cost of materials and services
Alignment of India region with division purchasing strategies
Primary interface / liaison with division procurement organization as and when required
Manage supply risk
To establish sourcing strategy document in line with business requirements aligning Technical teams, Supplier QA & plant teams
Supplier Relationship Management
Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers both locally and worldwide through the scorecard based SRM program
Market and Supplier Intelligence. Liasioning with global procurement and external agencies
Industry best practices and Benchmarking
Competitive Intelligence Cost Modelling
Price Forecasting & Risk Analysis
Value Chain analysis Supply
Demand Analysis – Make v/s Buy, Regional v/s Global
Monthly Price Forecasting tracking in Essbase
Compliance to AN Procurement Policies
Procurement in compliance with policies and procedures
Ensure compliance to the Global Purchasing and maintain all necessary documents to ensure transparency and audit compliance
BTech. (Food Technology)
Post-Graduation (Supply Chain/Marketing) would be a plus
Major/Field of Study
Engineering, Science strongly preferred
MBA with a focus on Business, Operations, or Finance.
Preferred certification by Institute of Supply Management (ISM) and/or The Association for Operations Management (APICS) or Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).
Minimum Work Experience
Minimum 07-10 Years of relevant Exp
Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for infant formula and nutritionals.
Total combined in operations, supply chain management including, but not limited to purchasing, planning, inventory control, finance, logistics or other related fields. Must possess skills in analysis, problem-solving, planning, goal setting, motivation, human relations, leadership, diplomacy, written and oral communications. Prior experience in handling Dairy, Agriculture (Oils/Sugar/Malto), Nutrition category of ingredients.
