Job Description

As the Director of Engineering, you will work closely with our technical architects, senior engineers, and more on designing and nurturing our product infrastructure as well as architecture. Partner with cross-functional core stakeholders in engineering, product management, program management, release management, QA, design, performance engineering teams to lead the technology direction.

Responsibilities:

• Developing the engineering team by providing coaching and mentoring to your team members, challenging individuals for peak performance and developing a logical career path for the department
• Have a strong sense of ownership and passion for building scalable, flexible, secured, and easy to maintain platforms
• Stay up to date with emerging technology trends and ability to choose the best, Make the right design decisions related to product features and technology choices.
• Drive multiple projects and deliver them on time with high quality.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of active architecture, software design, engineering, and implementation experience in a complex and fast-moving startup or product organisations
• Good knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Sound knowledge of web-related technologies such as HTTP, REST APIs, Authentication Mechanisms, Security, etc.
• Experience building highly scalable cloud native backend systems using Java/. NET/NodeJs or any other equivalent systems
• Strong expertise in Systems Architecture, API based codebase, Cloud Computing, and Storage Platforms.
• Deep knowledge of front end and backend technologies
• Owned capacity and growth of technical systems across multiple domains, defining key metrics
• Strong communication skills and can simplify technical concepts to explain them to non-technical partners
• Experience working with highly secure and scalable products on FSI sector
• Knowledge on Machine Learning systems and productionizing models
